    Thanks for your question! Sport style bumpers / body kits usually are slightly lower than the OEM bumper (to give vehicles a more "sporty" look). This bumper will be slightly lower than the OEM front bumper.

Yes, this front bumper will replace the stock/OEM bumper on a 2000 GMC Sonoma (this front bumper will fit all 1994-2004 GMC Sonoma & 1995-2004 GMC Jimmy models except for the Xtreme models). This front bumper will not replace the reinforcement bar (metal bar), which sits behind the front bumper. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks again!

Unfortunately, this bumper will not fit a 1999 Chevy Blazer Xtreme model (this front bumper is manufactured to fit the GMC Sonoma 1994-2004 & GMC Jimmy 1995-2004 models only).
