Thanks for your question! These fender flares protrude approximately 2.5" to 3" (at their widest point) from the Bronco.

These fenders will use a combination of the stock detachable method (quick release) & the existing stock mounting body holes on the Bronco for installation (no cutting, drilling or modifications are required). We had to use a bit of both in order to blend the rounded body line of the fender panel into the more square look. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks again!
